Happy Children’s Day to all

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of independent India. Nehru was very fond of children and so, to honor him, Children’s day is celebrated on the 14th of every November. This is a photograph of a portrait which we saw in the Palace Museum at Jammu. I do not know who the painter of this portrait is but this painting was so impressive that my father clicked a few photographs of this portrait. This was about 6 feet tall painting and if you looked at it from any corner of the room, it would appear as if Chacha Nehru was looking at you straight ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

I feel very happy on Children’s Day. Although no celebrations are done in my school for Children’s Day, still I like that this is the day specially for children ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
